Today's All-Phase Electric Supply opened in the 1930's when three local Bellingham families started a plumbing and electrical supply company called Bellingham Supply.
Bellingham Supply was located in the old Puget Sound Power and Light facility at 1701 Ellis Street in Bellingham. In the late 1960s the electrical distribution operation was sold to its manager, Vern Young. In 1976 a satellite branch was opened in Burlington to take advantage of a pending twin nuclear generating facility in Skagit county. The Burlington branch was located in the old Darigold processing plant on Sharon Street across from our current location. Although the Nuclear facility was never built Skagit County continued to grow and All-Phase Burlington serviced the area with its first electrical wholesale company. Three of the original employees are still with the company, Ron Schaler manager, Jean Simshauser office manager, and Dave Griffith warehouse manager. |
